What type of skills do we look for?
For telephone-based roles the most important skill (strength) is to be a good conversationalist, combined with the ability to build rapport. Candidates should be good learners (we will teach you everything you need to be successful). Resilience and a great attitude is also a bonus.
We offer free training for unsuccessful applications in collaboration with Hull College, Jobcentre Plus and Reed in Partnership, whereby they can attend a custom built 2 week training programme to give the candidates some development with their interpersonal, conversational skills. Anyone who attends the course is guaranteed an interview.
