Brough sits on the muddy shores of the River Humber and Brough has undergone major changes in recent years and is a growing town surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in East Yorkshire. It lies between the River Humber and the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds the inspiration behind the recent David Hockney exhibition.
